GPF Software
GPF Software is a small software company founded and run by Dwayne Duncan. Its employees are the primary focus of the comic, and its halls are the setting of the majority of the stories here.
The company was briefly dissolved when its former marketing director Trudy Trueheart scattered the other employees during the events of Surreptitious Machinations. The small, dedicated building owned by Dwayne was burned to the ground and the staff were either incarcerated or displaced. However, the gang persevered and the company was eventually reformed with much of the staff returning. GPF currently leases a couple floors in a professional office building in the same city, sharing space with other companies.
The exact location of GPF Software is specifically vague. In this way, it is easier for readers to believe that the characters could very well live in their own home town. However, it is safe to assume that the company's headquarters are situated somewhere on the eastern seaboard of the United States, since several clues have surfaced as such throughout the strip.
