ADVISING SERVICES
Schedule your advising appointment early, so that you will be able to register on your eligibility date. Call 974-7606 or stop by Room 203 in the College of Nursing to set up an appointment.
If you schedule an advising appointment and find that you cannot keep it, please call as early as possible to cancel it, so that we can schedule another student into that time slot.
Prepare for your appointment–write down questions, review curriculum and academic plan, bring appropriate materials to the meeting.
UT’S ACADEMIC ADVISING POLICY
Any student who has earned fewer than 30 credit hours at UT or is on Academic Review is required to meet with an academic advisor each semester in order to be cleared for registration the following semester.
After earning 30 hours, students must meet with an advisor once a year: students whose UT ID number ends with an even digit are advised each Fall and those whose ID number ends with an odd digit are advised each Spring. Of course, no limit is placed on the number of times a student may see an advisor.
