The UT College of Nursing is making it easier for registered nurses with associate degrees or diplomas in
nursing to receive their bachelor's degrees in nursing.
Beginning Summer 2009, upper-division nursing courses in the RN to BSN program transitioned to an online format.
The curriculum can be completed in three semesters or can be taken on a part-time basis. It allows RNs the
flexibility to work around various schedules while completing the degree.
Prerequisites can be taken at any institution, including UT Knoxville. Students can transition into the program
when ready to begin upper-division nursing courses.
