BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION:

 

BSN, University of Vermont, 1964.
MSN, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, 1978.
PhD, University of Maryland, Baltimore, 1987.
Dr. Creasia was appointed Dean of the College of Nursing in 1995.  Immediately prior to this appointment, she was the Interim Dean of the College of Nursing at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.  She also has held administrative positions at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, serving as Chair of the RN to BSN Program and Director of BSN and MSN Statewide Programs (Outreach).
Dean Creasia and Dr. Barbara Parker from the University of Virginia are co-authors of the textbook entitled Conceptual Foundations: The Bridge to Professional Nursing Practice.  The 4th edition of this text, designed specifically for RN to BSN students, was published by Mosby in Fall, 2006.
