Scholarships, Loans, and Traineeships
The University of Tennessee College of Nursing is grateful for the
support of its alumni and friends who often donate their time and
resources to help the College strengthen its programs and activities.
These donations help the College provide scholarship money to deserving
students, acquire and maintain state-of-the-art equipment and technology
for instructional purposes, seed research projects for young investigators
and to provide research awards for accomplished faculty and students.
When you make a charitable investment in the College of Nursing,
you are investing in the future of nursing and healthcare delivery
through our teaching, research, and practice. With the support of
our alumni and friends, the College of Nursing will be able to meet
our goals of being the college of choice for professional nursing
education in Tennessee, and to be a nationally recognized academic
center.
The Office of Development will gladly assist you in making a donation
to the College of Nursing. Although many donors give cash, some find
it more convenient to contribute gifts of securities or other appreciated
assets. Many benefactors choose to support the College through estate
gifts such as bequests in wills or trust agreements coordinated with
university representatives.
